Wytwórnia RCA Records zaprezentowała oficjalną ścieżkę dźwiękową do filmu Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man – długo wyczekiwanej produkcji pełnometrażowej stworzonej przez twórcę serialu, Steven Knight.
Przy okazji premiery artystka Girl in the Year Above udostępniła utwór promujący soundtrack Teardrop. To nastrojowa i pełna emocji reinterpretacja klasycznego nagrania autorstwa Massive Attack.
Pierwszy singiel zapowiadający album, Puppet, ukazał się już w ubiegłym miesiącu. Utwór jest efektem współpracy Grian Chatten z zespołu Fontaines D.C. z wieloletnimi kompozytorami muzyki do świata Peaky Blinders, Antony Genn i Martin Slattery. Kompozycja zapowiada nowy, odważny rozdział w charakterystycznym brzmieniu muzycznym marki Peaky Blinders.
Na albumie znalazło się łącznie 36 utworów, w tym pięć premierowych nagrań. Wśród nich są zarówno nowe piosenki zamówione specjalnie na potrzeby filmu, jak i rozbudowana oryginalna muzyka ilustracyjna. Za ścieżkę instrumentalną ponownie odpowiadają Genn i Slattery, natomiast świeże wokalne nagrania dostarczyli m.in. Amy Taylor z Amyl and the Sniffers oraz członkowie Fontaines D.C. – Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell i Tom Coll, wnosząc do projektu świeżą energię i nową perspektywę muzyczną.
